"I have been working with Action Mail the last 16 years. A majority of the projects we do with Action Mail involve hand fulﬁllment which usually includes some sort of personalized statement and multiple versions of non-personalized inserts included in beneﬁt enrollment packets for employees of medium to large employers. Packets can vary by geographic location, company division, full-time or part-time, exempt or non-exempt, active or retired, job codes/job classiﬁcations, union or non-union, years of service with the employer, annual salary, primary language, current enrollment in certain plans, etc.
Action Mail plays a critical role for us in completing the ﬁnal step of a project that usually takes between 12 and 16 weeks from start to ﬁnish. Our projects begin with determining a client’s communication needs, drafting communication materials, design and layout, client/insurance carrier review and editing, printing and ﬁnally fulﬁllment and mailing. Project timelines often get compressed, but a client’s mailing dates usually cannot be moved. So Action Mail has to make up any days lost during the project due to late approvals, and strive for 100% accuracy in packet assembly to ensure each employee receives the correct materials. This is no easy task… especially between September 1 and November 15 when 85% of U.S. employers hold their annual beneﬁts Open Enrollment for beneﬁts effective the following January 1.
